Our 60th MHS Class of '66 Reunion will consist of several events spanning three days, Oct. 8th - 10th, 2026. You can register for all of them or pick and choose those events you wish to attend. Here is the current schedule of events:
Thursday, October 8th
MHS Hall of Fame Banquet. This is a separate event hosted by Mankato West High School. Tickets must be purchased direclty from the school on their website at https://whs.isd77.org. The Banquet will begin at 5:30pm and adjourning at 8:00pm. Our Class Members, Tom McLaughlin and Dan Ackerson, have been previoulsy admitted to the MHS Hall of Fame,
Friday, October 9th
MHS Alumni Reception and Tour of the newly renovated building. Coffee and pastries will be provided at 9:30am, with the Building Tour to begin at 10:00am. There is no charge. Reservations required.
Homecoming Queen Coronation Ceremony in school gymnasium. 11:00am to 12:00pm. No charge. We will take a Class photo of those in attendance immediately after the Ceremony. Wear your MHS sweatshirt or red top of some kind to show your support for the school.
Lunch at Circle Inn - 12:30pm. Our class is planning to meet for an informal gathering for lunch at the Circle Inn, 232 Belgrade Ave. in No. Mankato. Reservations and payment required in advance. Cost: $25 per person including tax and tip.
Bus Tour of Mankato - 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Meet at the Country Inn and Suites., 1900 Premier Dr. Tour will be moderated by our own Tom McLaughlin, a lifelong resident of Mankato and former City Councilman. $20 per person. Maximum of 50 people. Reservations and payment required in advance.
Homecoming Game - 7:00pm to 9:00pm at high school football field. Free tickets available for Alumni at morning Alumni Reception.
60th Reunion Social - 5:30pm to 11:00pm at Loose Moose Bar and Restaurant, 119 So. Front St. Heavy hors d'oeuvers served all night. Cash bar. No program. Lots of chatter and fun storytelling. Cost $30 per person including tax and tip. Reservations and payment required in advance.
Saturday, October 10th
Farewell Lunch and Program - 11:00am to 2:00pm at Pappageorge Restaurant and Bar, 1028 No. Riverfront. Dr. Short program and Memorial Service at 11:00am. Lunch is order Ala Carte at 12:00. Pay at the door. Reservations required.
